Quad biking in the UK is a great way to see the British countryside, get muddy and get outdoors for the day. There are plenty of outdoor activity centres around the United Kingdom that specialise in quad biking and they cater to large groups and smaller groups. If you are looking for some outdoor team bonding activities, quad biking at one of the many quad tracks or trails in the UK could be the perfect solution.
Quad Biking in the UK
Quad bikes as they are known in the UK, or ATVs (All Terrain Vehicles) are four wheelers, usually of
around 250cc for commercial purposes that can take on rough terrain, giving you the ride of your life through muddy ditches, streams, sandy hillsides and muddy tracks.
For most quad tracks around the country, no experience is necessary. Bikes are either geared or automatic and you can choose from track riding or quad trail riding depending upon the outdoor activity centre you are at. Purpose built tracks give you the chance to master your quad bike handling skills whilst the trail rides get you really stuck in the mud.
Most activity centres will provide you with full kit lists when you book, so that you know what to wear and what to bring with you. The activity centre will provide you with the safety equipment you need including a helmet. Check when you are booking with your centre whether you have the option of a photographer to help you capture those memories of the day. Most activity centres will combine quad biking with other activities to really make a day of it so whilst you are at it, see if you can sign up for some white water rafting, clay shooting, caving or even climbing.
Looking for something totally different? Why not try a sea fishing trip at one of the many beautiful spots around the UK coastline.
