Whilst walking in the Scotland highlands during winter conditions can be a truly wonderful experience please do bear in mind that it can (of course) become very cold "very quickly.  You should be prepared mentally to meet all that the elements can throw at you from glorious sun shine with stunning views across the snow covered peaks to blizzard conditions with whiteout and limited visibility.

Important Notes
The weather can change rapidly on Ben Nevis -see the 3 pictures above and note the times. Winter mountaineering requires a certain amount of fitness, although any normally active person should have no problems. We CAN NOT guarantee that you (or even the whole group) will reach the summit. We will start off with the intention of reaching the top but if, in the non negotiable opinion of the instructors, the weather or snow conditions means that it would be dangerous or unadvisable to continue, we will turn back.
